Tony has been working with vulnerable children and families for over 35 years, originally starting his career as a mental health social worker.
Following twelve years in young people’s addiction services he went on to work internationally for the British Council developing services for vulnerable children in South Africa, Nova Scotia and Sweden.
He currently delivers training and works as a psychotherapist. He first started applying the principles of NVR in his practice in 2006 and has continued to develop an NVR approach since.
Tony has a specialist interest in early trauma and it’s links with aggressive, destructive and self-destructive behaviours in children and young people.
