Conference Workshop

New Voices: Hearing young peoples lived experiences of NVR

This workshop aims to place young people's voices at the centre of NVR learning, encouraging participants to reflect on how NVR interventions feel from the receiving end. We have identified a number of young people willing to share their experiences as either named child or sibling, either through short recordings or in person. Conference delegates will then be invited to reflect on:

• what surprised them

• what challenged their assumptions

• what might change in their practice/parenting because of any insights gained

We will ensure we involve young people in ways that are ethical, voluntary, and carefully supported. Their contributions will be shared either through pre- recorded material or in person, depending on what feels safest and most appropriate to them.
