Jeanine is an Art Psychotherapist with a background in supporting children living within local authority care and SEMH school settings. Jeanine has been delivering therapeutic support to groups and individuals for 10 years and has experience of training in NVR (as part of NVR Action & Practice). Since 2020 Jeanine has been co-delivering NVR groups at PAC-UK (part of Family Action). This involves delivering specialised trauma informed NVR groups to adoptive parents and special guardians.
Jeanine also offers NVR in her private practice and can provide NVR-based individual, family and parent support along with NVR team consultation or NVR supervision to qualified NVR practitioners. Jeanine’s particular areas of interest are in using NVR as a safeguarding tool, using NVR in planning/managing school transitions, addressing harmful sexual behaviour and in using NVR for repairing ruptures in sibling relationships. A new area in Jeanine’s NVR work is the use of NVR tools for healing from family of origin trauma.
